Salvos Stores has a vacancy for the position of Area Manager - North Eastern Melbourne reporting directly to the Regional Manager VIC/TAS. As an Area Manager you will inspire and nurture your team of passionate and dedicated Store Managers, all focused on delivering great social, environmental and business outcomes for their store. Your leadership will ensure Salvos Stores provides an inspiring in-store experience for our team, customers and community members. You will therefore be adaptable, comfortable with change, and able to respond quickly to challenges as they arise. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Leading, growing and developing a team of paid employees and volunteersEnsuring extraordinary customer service is provided every day, in every interaction Reading, analysing and interpreting business reports to deliver on all business targets and outcomesEmbedding exceptional operational and visual merchandising standardsRole-modeling a ‘safety first’ culture in our storesOpening new stores, and overseeing all refurbishmentsEnsuring company policies and procedures are adhered to Working for Salvos Stores is a rewarding experience, which goes beyond a normal job. To be successful in this role you must possess excellent people leadership and multi-site retail management abilities. As someone known for your integrity, you will be comfortable aligning to The Salvation Army Mission and Values.
