Salvos Stores is one of Australia’s leading not-for-profit organisations operating over 200 retail stores across Australia whilst being a major contributor in funding for The Salvation Army programs. The RoleReporting directly to the Salvos Stores CEO, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including but not limited to the following:Development and management of strategy and framework for chaplaincy services and mission development within Salvos StoresProvision of support to Chaplains, staff and volunteers within Salvos Stores in WA, SA, NT and with a particular focus on VIC and TASFacilitation of interaction between Salvos Stores and other Army Corps and Social ProgrammesProvision of pastoral care to the staff and volunteers of Salvos Stores through visiting stores and phone contactOrganisation and promotion of spiritual activities About youTo be considered for this role, you must possess the following attributes:Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsRespectful of differences in culture, style and viewpointDiploma in Chaplaincy and/or Clinical Pastoral Education or willingness to undertake studiesDemonstrated experience in team management and plan implementationExperience working with front line staff across multiple sites is advantageousCurrent Driver Licence is required Working for Salvos Stores is a rewarding experience, which goes beyond a normal job and allows you to give something back to the community.
