EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES Salvos Stores is one of Australia’s leading not-for-profit organisations operating over 220 retail stores across the Southern Territory of Australia, whilst being a major contributor in funding for The Salvation Army programs.Salvos Stores is currently seeking a Lease Administrator to join their Property Management team.The RoleReporting directly to the Portfolio, based in Mount Waverley, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including but is not limited to the following:Provide expertise towards Salvos Stores Strategic portfolio plan, this includes but is not limited to undertaking research and obtaining medium and long term property prognosesMonitor and report on portfolio performances against budgeted outcomes on a regular basis, this will require the incumbent to work closely with the Finance team and the Portfolio ManagerMonitor and review occupancy costs and communicate findings with relevant stakeholders on a regular basisOrganise lease steering committee under the general direction of the Portfolio ManagerRegularly review existing documents, processes and systems to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction, this includes but is not limited to standardising leasing contractsManage all administrative duties for Salvos Stores properties, this includes but is not limited to undertaking due diligence activities, reconciliation of outgoings, monitor maintenance obligations of all properties including compliance under the WHS and Essential Services Act and maintenance of Salvos Stores electronic documents databaseAdvise the Portfolio Manager on renewal, negotiations, update on legal documentation, market rents, current average retail rents and other similar informationUndertake ad-hoc administrative and project activities as directed by the Portfolio Manager About youTo be considered for this role, you will possess the following attributes:Considerable experience in commercial and retail property management in Victoria with experience managing a large portfolioExperience working with commercial real estate contractsExtensive knowledge of the Retail Legislations in VictoriaKnowledge on rents and outgoings, compliance and budgetsReal estate agents licence preferredProficiency in using Legal Eagle Working for Salvos Stores is a rewarding experience, which goes beyond a normal job and allows you to give something back to the community.
