The successful candidate will report to the Warehouse Coordinator. Your role as Warehouse Storeperson supports the retail network of stores throughout the state and duties will include but not be limited to; Accurate receipt and dispatch of goods dailyEnsuring requests from stores for warehoused stock, purchased goods and central buying goods are distributed within agreed timeframes.Assisting Warehouse Coordinator in developing and following strict stock control procedures.Provide weekly stock figures and perform stocktakesEnsure Warehouse remains holding an optimum level of stock as outlined by Logistics Manager. As the successful applicant you will have the following attributes;Have current LF licenseHave forklift experienceBe well presentedDeliver Extraordinary Customer ServiceWork well in a Team EnvironmentHave exceptional organisational skillsExperience within a Warehouse / Distribution environment Working for Salvos Stores is a rewarding experience, which goes beyond a normal job and allows you to give something back to the community whilst experiencing working with an employer of choice. You will be an energetic, hands-on individual and will bring developed written and verbal skills to the position.
